Adenosine

A naturally occurring messenger molecule (nucleoside) found in almost all body cells and used in cosmetic products as a powerful anti-aging ingredient. Adenosine can penetrate quickly and deeply into the skin, where it activates cellular energy, metabolism, and the production of collagen and elastic fibers. It improves blood flow and microcirculation, strengthens and densifies the skin structure, and reduces the amount of the transmitter acetylcholine at the nerve–muscle junction, resulting in relaxation of facial expression muscles. This helps prevent wrinkle formation and smooths existing fine lines and wrinkles, giving the complexion a firmer and more rested appearance.

Niacinamide

A form of vitamin B3 that is essential for many enzymatic processes in the body. Niacinamide also plays a key role in the skin’s metabolism.
