Panthenol, Dexpanthenol wird auch als Provitamin B5 bezeichnet.
Was zeichnet den Wirkstoff PANTHENOL aus?
Es handelt sich dabei um eine Vitamin-B-Vorstufe, die an den Stoffwechselprozessen der Haut beteiligt ist und feuchtigkeitsspendend, regenerierend, wundheilend und entzündungshemmend wirkt. Zugleich wird die Hautelastizität verbessert und die die Barrierefunktion der Haut verstärkt. In der Haut verwandelt sich das Panthenol in den Wirkstoff Panthotensäure. Aufgrund seiner guten Verträglichkeit ist der Inhaltsstoff auch in Babypflegeprodukten (oder auch Nasensprays und zahlreichen Pharmaka) im Einsatz. Dank der Zellneubildung fördernden Wirkung hilft Dexpanthenol auch bei Sonnenbrand oder Verletzungen. Rötungen klingen durch die verminderte Durchblutung schnell ab und Juckreiz wird zuverlässig verringert.
